Cozy Corner Cafe

Your Home Away From Home in Seattle

Our Story

Cozy Corner Cafe began with a simple dream: to create a welcoming space in the heart of Seattle where people could connect over exceptional coffee and delicious food. Founded in 2015 by siblings Elias and Clara Bergstrom, the cafe quickly became a neighborhood staple. Elias, a seasoned barista with a passion for ethically sourced beans, envisioned a cafe that not only served great coffee but also fostered a sense of community. Clara, a talented pastry chef, brought her creativity and love for baking to the cafe, crafting a menu of irresistible treats that perfectly complemented Elias's coffee creations.

The first Cozy Corner Cafe opened its doors on NW Market Street in Ballard, a vibrant and historic neighborhood known for its independent shops and strong sense of community. From the beginning, the cafe emphasized quality ingredients, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. The name "Cozy Corner" was chosen to reflect the warm and inviting feeling that Elias and Clara wanted to create. They spent months carefully designing the interior, choosing comfortable furniture, warm lighting, and local artwork to create a space where customers would feel at home.

Over the years, Cozy Corner Cafe has grown from a small neighborhood cafe to a beloved Seattle institution. We've expanded our menu to include a wider variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We've also added a selection of craft beers and wines, making Cozy Corner Cafe a perfect spot for an afternoon or evening gathering. But despite our growth, we've remained committed to our original mission: to provide exceptional coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere to the people of Seattle.
